CBA Hall of Fame
Each year, the members of the Colorado Bandmasters Association nominate and vote for one member to add to the CBA Hall of Fame. These teachers have served as mentors, inspirations and teachers to countless thousands of students and colleagues in the state of Colorado, and we are a stronger organization because of their vision and dedication to music education.
The Hall of Fame is housed at Frazier Hall, in the music building on the campus of the University of Northern Colorado.
nominate an outstanding band director for the CBA Hall of Fame
Requirements:
20 years minimum teaching experience, 15 in Colorado
In good standing with membership dues
Served the Colorado Bandmasters Association either through adjudication, committees, boards, or volunteer work at festivals, etc.
Realizing that some outstanding Colorado band educators may not meet those requirements, the Hall of Fame Committee (3 CBA presidents and Past Hall of Fame members selected by the board) may choose to present an award for significant contribution to CBA - so if you know someone that fits this, you’ll follow the same process (click the link above).
Sponsor must be ready to submit a resume of the candidate and two letters of support that demonstrate excellence as a music educator.
